TF Channel is a communications platform purposefully designed to make senior care as easy as possible. It is a dedicated communication system for senior care management, with the benefits of video calls, media sharing and care assurance, all on a secure and private system.
The problem
The medical alert systems in senior homes are out of date and inefficient, making the jobs of caregivers more strenuous than they should be. A study conducted by researchers at the University of Binghamton and the University of Auburn found that ten percent of medical alerts made by seniors went unanswered by caregivers because they were preoccupied, or could not prioritize between calls.
Our solution
We’re rethinking how technology enables human connection.
- Simplicity: TF Channel’s operating system is intuitive and easy to use for elders and caregivers alike. Features such as drop-in calls and messaging makes communication between caregivers and seniors easier and clearer than ever.
- Remote Control: Remotely monitor the status of each terminal. Control what is displayed on the screen, connect them with loved ones, and help them use the device without having to be by their sides.
- Security and Privacy: TF Channel terminals are arranged in private groups. Content shared among TF Channel terminals are only viewable within their private group. All communications over TF Channel are encrypted.
Real connection
We’re building technology specifically to connect people to their loved ones and the services they need. We don’t include unnecessary or complicated features of traditional social media. Our goal is to use technology to enable real human connection.
